Díszelgő repülés Litvániában

Közös díszelgő repüléssel tisztelgett a balti légtérrendészeti feladatban résztvevő magyar és spanyol kontingens a litván katonai-polgári egység napján. A magyar JAS-39 Gripen, valamint a spanyol F-18-as vadászgépek négy gépes köteléke a rendezvény helyszíne felett hajtott végre díszelgő áthúzást.

The Hungarian and Spanish Contingents deployed in the Baltic Air Policing (BAP) mission honoured the Lithuanian Armed Forces and Public Unity Day with a joint parade flight. The ”finger-four” formation of the Hungarian JAS-39 Gripen and the Spanish F-18 fighters were performing a fly-by over the scene of the event.

Hazánk és Szlovénia légtere mellett, május elsejétől, négy hónapon át a spanyol, valamint a Brit Királyi Légierő vadászgépeivel együttműködésben, vezető nemzetként a Magyar Honvédség vadászgépei látják el Észtország, Lettország, és Litvánia légterének védelmét. A baltikumi légtérrendészeti misszió (BAP) 50. váltásának átadás-átvételi ünnepségét május 2-án rendezték a litvániai Siauliai légibázison.

Again, the Key to the Baltic Airspace is in Our Hands

Besides the airspaces of our homeland and Slovenia, as from 1st May, as a lead nation, Hungary with the Hungarian Defence Forces’ fighter aircraft ensures the protection of the airspace over Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in co-operation with the aircraft of the Spanish Air Force and the Royal Air Force of Great Britain, in the next four months. The handover/takeover ceremony of the 50th Baltic Air Policing (BAP) rotation was held on Thursday, 2nd May on the Šiauliai Air Base in Lithuania.
