Hungarian Sporting Success in Afghanistan

In late October, the team of the Hungarian Special Operations Contingent won the 1st prize at the Multinational Marksman Competition, which was organized by the Multinational Force Protection Company deployed at Camp Marmal. The participants of the competition fired assault rifles and pistols. In the interest of equal opportunities, the competitors were not allowed to use optical sights with zoom.

During the execution of shooting tasks, the organizers also tested the competitors’ physical stamina through simulating factors caused by combat stress that influence marksmanship skills.
