Spring Party – In the Spirit of the Anniversary of Hungary’s Accession to NATO
Szöveg: Béla Gazsi | 2014. március 29. 6:00Together with the V4 countries, the Office of the Hungarian Military Representative to NATO holds a reception called “Spring Party” at the NATO Headquarters, Brussels in March every year. This year’s event – where the Hungarians co-hosted the staff of the HQ with Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia – took place on March 20. The 15th anniversary of Hungary’s accession to NATO gave particular emphasis to the party.
The guests of the event were welcomed by military representatives of the four nations
The invitees of the event included the heads and staffs of the Hungarian diplomatic missions in Brussels, the ambassadors and military representatives of NATO and partner nations as well as the members of delegations and those of the NATO International Staff and the International Military Staff.
The close to 1000 guests were welcomed by Polish Maj.-Gen. Janusz Bojarski, Czech Maj.-Gen. Jirí Baloun, Slovakian Maj.-Gen. Miroslav Kocian and Hungarian Military Representative Maj.-Gen. László Domján.
During the traditional Spring Party, the guests were free to choose from the foods and drinks offered by the nations at separate national stands. The photo series introducing the Hungarian Defence Forces and their role in operations were a great success at the event.
