Meeting of Hungarian and Slovenian Chiefs of Defence Continues in Ljubljana

After inspecting Exercise Clever Ferret 2014 and attending the meeting of the five-nation Defence Cooperation Initiative (DECI), on the third day of his visit Gen. Dr. Tibor Benkő, Chief of the Defence Staff arrived in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Besides the bilateral discussions with Slovenian Chief of Defence Maj.-Gen. Dobran Bozic, the other significant event of the day was a meeting with Slovenian President Borut Pahor.

During his visit to Skopje, Gen. Dr. Tibor Benkő, the Chief of the Defence Staff met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia and the Minister of Defence of the recently formed new Macedonian government. EU Chiefs of Defence Discuss Currently Conducted Operations

The European Union Military Committee met at the level of Chiefs of Defence (CHOD) in Brussels on May 20. At the meeting of the highest military body in the EU, the Hungarian delegation – which included military representative Maj. Gen. László Domján – was headed by Gen. Hungarian Chief of Defence Continues His Balkans Tour in Sarajevo

Central European Military Leaders Hold Discussions in Split
