The winter polar region phase of the winter instructors’ course was implemented in the Swedish Armed Forces Survival School on Kalixfors Base, between January 26 and February 5, 140 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle.

Homecoming and Farewell Ceremony in Szolnok for Soldiers Serving with Foreign Missions

A combined homecoming and farewell ceremony for soldiers serving with foreign missions was recently held in Szolnok. During the event held on Tuesday, March 18, 34 service members to deploy with the Hungarian contingent of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) were bidden farewell, and those returning from individual ISAF positions in Afghanistan and the UN mission in Western Sahara (MINURSO) were welcomed home.
