The in-theatre integration Full Operational Capability (FOC) training for the Delta Company of the HDF KFOR Contingent – which is deployed in Novo Selo, Kosovo – finished in mid-February. The company has successfully completed the training sessions and reached FOC.

The main mission of the company is presence patrolling, but its members carry out border patrols as well, and they can be deployed in anti-smuggling operations and, if needed, in crowd riot control (CRC) tasks as well.

In the first phase of training, the troops were prepared for basic modes of airlift, including helicopter patrols. Additionally, the company implemented a complex CRC task during which it was practicing the removal of the “rioter’s" roadblocks, and participated in fire phobia training. Of course, their training included a live fire exercise as well. The American superior assessed the complex task execution as excellent.

In the meantime, the Hungarian Charlie Company stationed in Camp Slim Lines, Pristina is also participating in a number of training sessions in order to reach Full Operational Capability.
