US Marines Share Experience
Szöveg: Ádám Draveczki-Ury | 2015. január 18. 9:48The US Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) organizes the Junior Officer/NCO training course between January 13 and 15 at the HDF NCO Academy in Szentendre. Three US marines have arrived in Hungary to participate in the training.
Brig.-Gen. Tibor Bozó, commandant, HDF NCO Academy and Col. Timothy Manning, head of the US Embassy Office of Defense Cooperation opened the special training course in the morning of Tuesday, January 13. Ten Hungarian officers and ten NCOs are attending the training event. USMC Sergeant Major James J. McCook, Senior Enlisted Leader, US Marines Corps Europe also honored the opening with his presence.
CWO István Kriston told us that the basic goal of the three-day training is to support the professional development of young officers and NCOs. “The captain and two NCOs from the US Marines are going to give presentations in different topics, but basically, they will share the lessons learned in small unit tactics and the directions in developing cooperation between officers and NCOs", the command sergeant major of the Hungarian Defence Forces said.
