Two Hungarian Troops Killed in Baghlan Road Accident

Two Hungarian soldiers died on May 17 in a road accident in Baghlan Province, Afghanistan, when their vehicle overturned. Defence Minister Dr. Csaba Hende and Gen. Dr. Tibor Benkő, Chief of the MoD Defence Staff held a press conference on Tuesday afternoon in the Ministry of Defence in Balaton Street.

Commemorating the 42 Victims of the Hejce Air Crash

On the fifth anniversary of the tragedy that struck on January 19, 2006, a commemoration was held in the border village of Hejce. The Ministers of Defence of Hungary and Slovakia, families, friends, and comrades paid tribute to the memory of the 42 Slovak troops who had lost their lives in the air disaster.
