The crew of the Serbian warship consisted of cadets preparing to join the river flotilla, so the journey was like an exam for them. The Kozara was escorted by an AM minesweeper of the Hungarian Defence Forces, and joined by two other warships outside Parliament Building.
“We crossed the Hungarian border yesterday evening, at six ‘o clock. With this, we have reached a new phase in our cooperation. Besides, we had the honor of being able to welcome the people of Budapest from our ship", Col. Andrija Andric, the commander of the Serbian River Flotilla told us. After their arrival, the Serbian cadets visited the National University of Public Service, where they attended presentations about training and preparation.
