Ready for Deployment!

In his speech General Kneip spoke highly of the work of the past six-months rendered by the Hungarian contingent under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Mr. Szloszjár, then greeted Colonel Dr. Ruszin, and the rotation serving under his command. In what follows the Major General personally pinned the NATO Medal (the award marking the end of the mission) on the chest of Lieutenant Colonel Mr. Szloszjár. Lieutenant Colonel Mr. Szloszjár in his farewell address referred to the investments that gave a large amount of work and tasks, and expressed his gratitude for the support of the RCN Commander and the Afghan Governmental organs. The Commander of the HUN PRT-10 received a certificate from the Province Police Chief and the Shura Leader Dr. Faysal.

Colonel Romulusz Ruszin congratulated the entire HUN PRT-10 contingent for the work accomplished with success. In his address he pointed out that the HUN PRT-11 will also follow the course set by the successful investments, projects carried out until now, relying on the support of the RCN Commander and the co-operation of the Afghan people. The chief direction will remain the development of the Province, and the continuation of the projects, together with the Afghan people in the foreseeable future for Afghanistan. The establishment of a safe and strong Afghanistan is in the common interest of us all – Colonel Ruszin said in his closing remarks.
