They Have Completed the Training Tasks
Szöveg: Lt. Viktor Kapás | 2017. szeptember 25. 4:28The Hungarian contingent taking part in Exercise Training Bridge 2017 has completed its training tasks, and started preparing for redeployment back to Hungary.
The last phase of the execution of training tasks focused on building coherence at the level of platoons. The terrain conditions (woodlands and swamps) were different from those in Hungary and provided opportunities to execute platoon-level tasks.
During the training, the Hungarians conducted joint live fire exercises with the Estonian troops, practiced military operations on urban terrain and had opportunity to negotiate water obstacles.
The training program ended on 18 September with a complex tactical mission. It was carried out in the Nursipalu training area and range which is assigned to Taara Army Base, where the platoons executed their tasks simultaneously.
On 19 September the personnel of the contingent commenced the necessary checking and maintenance activities to get ready for the redeployment.
