Canadian Senior NCO Visits HDF NCO Academy
Szöveg: SWO Dóra Téglás Duruczné | 2015. május 16. 5:00During his visit to Hungary, Chief Warrant Officer Etienne DeGready spent a day at the HDF NCO Academy. The senior NCO – the manager of NCO professional development and training at the Canadian Defence Academy – arrived at the Szentendre unit in the company of CSM István Kriston, Command Sergeant Major of the Hungarian Defence Forces.
Brig.-Gen. Tibor Bozó, the commander of the academy received the Canadian guest. In the first half of the visit CWO DeGready attended the presentations by Hungarian senior NCOs in order to get a picture of the life of the NCO corps in Hungary, the system of NCO way of life, training and further training and the challenges ahead of the NCOs.
In the second half of the day CWO DeGready gave a presentation to which the senior enlisted leaders of units and sub-units of the Hungarian Defence Forces were invited. The Canadian senior NCO introduced the system of NCO training, selection and promotion, and informed his Hungarian colleagues about the processes of planning and organizing work at the Canadian Defence Academy.
