Capable Logistician 2015: Start of Final Planning Conference

Brig.-Gen. Imre Pogácsás opened the Final Planning Conference of the CL15 exercise in Stefánia Palace in the morning of April 13. In his speech, the chief of the Defence Staff Logistic Directorate welcomed the participants of the conference; as he said, the importance of the meeting is truly reflected in the fact that ten organizations and 26 countries are represented here. Imre Pogácsás emphasized that many results have already been attained in earlier preparatory events, but they still have a lot of tasks ahead – although the present conference is called “final", there is still a lot of work to be done in preparation for the exercise. The brigadier-general wished the participants a successful conference.

Exercise Capable Logistician 2015 will be organized at the request of the Prague-based Multinational Logistic Coordination Centre (MLCC) in Hungary between June 1–26. The exercise is highly significant because it will be conducted with the participation of altogether 1,400 troops – including the soldiers of the Hungarian Defence Forces – and some 400 pieces of equipment from as many as 20 nations.
