The Portuguese soldiers serving in the camp were happy to join the sports day and actively participated in all events with good results.

In his speech given at a staff meeting in the afternoon, Senior Hungarian officer Lt.-Col. Tamás Balló praised the predecessors.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Dr. László Márkusz pointed out the continuous and dedicated work done by the Hungarian peacekeepers, which contributes to Kosovo’s stability. Maj.-Gen. Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, the commander of KFOR emphasized the importance of paying tribute to the fallen heroes, and thanked, in Hungarian, the Hungarian troops for their work.

During the major general’s speech, the personnel observed a moment of silence to commemorate the soldiers killed in action in the area of operations. Maj.-Gen. Figliuolo decorated those serving in individual positions with NATO medals, thanked them for their work and praised their high professional standards of service.

The senior officers and leaders of all KFOR nations honored the ceremony with their presence and thanked the Hungarian “hosts".
