Grateful Farewell to Hungary

On July 15, at the end of her three-year diplomatic mission US Ambassador Eleni Tsakopoulos Kounalakis said farewell to Minister of Defence Csaba Hende and the Ministry of Defence.

The ambassador of the United States to Hungary said that the cooperation she had seen developing since 2010 was exemplary, and gratefully thanked the Hungarians for their characteristic willpower and problem-solving skills. She also said that the Hungarian troops’ continuing professional service in foreign missions had gone a long way towards strengthening the bilateral relations of the two nations.

Minister of Defence Csaba Hende thanked the ambassador for her activity in Hungary and wished her every success in her future work.
