HDF JFC Chief of Staff Receives Recognition for His Work

Every year the United States Air University recognizes its former students who, having returned to their country, pursue a distinguished career and thereby earn further reputation for the institution.

In the past 32 years, representatives from 99 countries were inducted into the Air University International Hall of Fame. This year, in recognition of his achievements, the name and position of Maj.-Gen. Zoltán Mihócza, Chief of Staff, HDF Joint Force Command was also placed here on an engraved plaque. In a ceremony, he was presented with the corresponding award and certificate by Air University Commander Lt.-Gen. Anthony Cotton.

Being inducted into this hall of fame is a great honor to soldiers, as it means that their career-long achievements are recognized outside the borders of their country as well. Besides its importance to the awardee, this recognition makes the high professional standards of the personnel of the Hungarian Defence Forces known in a wider circle and sets to the subordinates the example of Maj.-Gen. Zoltán Mihócza’s performance.
