During the training, the soldiers practiced dismounted and mounted patrols to be conducted in hostile environment, camp force protection tasks and the manning of checkpoints.

The combined training ended with a closing exercise. Under its scenario, after a fictitious crisis, the troops were assigned to joint battle groups of multinational peace enforcement units to demonstrate the operational skills they had acquired during the training event.

After the Battalion Commander of “MNBn SWORD" and the Company Commander “MNBn SWORD, 3rd COY" issued the OPORDs, the troops formed multinational battle groups to practice various infantry tasks related to peace enforcement. Under the exercise scenario, rebel groups laid an ambush, delivered incoming fire, and emplaced improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to make the task execution harder. The bombs that were found while patrolling the area presented a challenge to the soldiers too.
