An important task of the PDSS team – led by a group of experts delegated by the HDF Joint Force Command – was to work out details and start further discussions about the upcoming increase of Hungary’s military presence in the Balkans.

Most soldiers serving with the 11th rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent are drawn from the HDF 25th Klapka György Infantry Brigade of Tata, and their deployment is scheduled to take place in August. According to plans, a Hungarian infantry company will arrive in Camp Novo Selo, which is located 25 kilometers north of Pristina and is currently under French command.
The Hungarian unit will execute its tasks under the command of the KFOR Multinational Battle Group–East (KFOR MNBG-E).
