KTM Exercise
Szöveg: nato.int/kfor | 2015. augusztus 25. 9:00On the 21st August 2015, KFOR Tactical Manoeuvre (KTM) conducted Crowd and Riot Control (CRC) “FOX 3” training exercise in Camp Vrelo (Kosovo Polje/ Fushe-Kosova).
The purpose of the exercise was to maintain the KTM capability, testing the recently arrived KTM units and to enhance the operative integration and flexibility of the units involved in the training.
The proposed training scenario planned a violent protest in an urban area which had to be managed by KFOR units. The “FOX 3" scenario also saw the use of “Molotov cocktails" by rioters and the restoring of freedom of movement by KTM soldiers.
From operational point of view the, training received positive feedback, among them the interchangeability of troops, maintaining a high level of efficiency and capabilities, and effective coordination of the command and control structure.
