Master Sergeant Receives Ministerial Award
Szöveg: General Staff | 2016. január 10. 6:05On 3 December 2015, Minister of Defence Dr. István Simicskó awarded the Silver Grade of the “Service Medal” to US Army Master Sergeant Matthew B. Ott, the senior enlister officer at the Embassy of the United States Office of the Senior Defense Official and Defense Attaché. Master Sergeant Ott received the medal in recognition of his outstanding work in building the international reputation of the Hungarian Defence Forces NCO Corps and strengthening international relations, on the occasion of the end of his military diplomacy service in Hungary and his retirement.
On behalf of the Minister of Defence, Hungarian Chief of Defence Gen. Dr. Tibor Benkő presented the US Master Sergeant with the award in the Ministry of Defence, Budapest on Monday, January 4.
The event was attended by Ambassador of the United States to Hungary Colleen Bradley Bell; Col. Donald R. Baker, the Senior Defense Official of the United States of America and Defense Attaché accredited to Budapest; and Col. Steven J. Jantz, the US Air Attaché accredited to Budapest.
