Mid-Summer Festival at KFOR HQ
Szöveg: Maj. Dr. Ildikó Szmolenszki | 2013. július 9. 9:04The KFOR HQ held its traditional Mid-Summer Festival at Pristina, Kosovo in the last days of June.
The event provided all KFOR troop contributing nations with an opportunity to introduce their countries and cultures during an open day at the KFOR Headquarters in Camp Film City.
The eight rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent represented Hungary at the Mid-Summer Festival. The soldiers of the contingent offered the guests home-made scones and lemonade, and folded paper flowers which were a great success with the children. Besides, the folk dance ensemble of the contingent gave a dance performance to entertain the audience.
The Hungarian stand was among the most popular ones with a high turnout of visitors, who expressed their appreciation for the colorful decorations and the kind hospitality.
