Szöveg: 1LT Dr. Zita Markovics Révészné | 2013. február 15. 9:01The platoon leaders and company commanders training for the NATO CREVAL process have finished the two-week period in Szentendre with a result that is better than expected” – Lt.- Col. Zsolt Vantal, the commander of the Infantry Battle Group (IBG) of the HDF 5th ‘Bocskai István’ Infantry Brigade told us.
The close to 30 soldiers studying at the HDF NCO Academy have received classroom
instruction as well as tactical, fire support, reconnaissance, artillery, ground-based air defence
(GBAD), logistic, engineering and communication and information systems (CIS) trade
training. At the end of the training period they have all passed their exam with success.
According to Lt.-Col. Zsolt Vantal, the platoon leaders’ and company commanders’
knowledge provides a solid foundation for the further phases: in the first two weeks of
February the training objective is to build unit cohesion in the infantry subunits as well as the
mortar and recon sections at the “Vay Ádám" Training Base in Hajdúhadház. In March, the
companies will be forged into cohesive units, while in April the headquarters and the subunits
will conduct a computer-assisted exercise (CAX), before we start redeploying soldiers and
equipment to Várpalota where the NATO CREVAL begins in mid-May.
