Pre-Deployment Site Survey in KFOR
Szöveg: honvedelem.hu / bocskaidandar.hu | 2013. május 7. 9:11The designated leaders of the ninth rotation of the HDF KFOR contingent (KFOR-9 HUN CON) paid a pre-deployment site survey (PDSS) visit to Camp Slim Lines, Pristina, to learn about the activities and task system of the contingent in the interest of providing an effective pre-deployment training for the rotation personnel.

Chief Operations, Maj. Zsolt Krajnyák, Chief Support, Capt. Gábor Vastagh, the commander
of the maneuver company and Capt. Csaba Huszár from the HDF Joint Force Command.
Lt.-Col. Bátor introduced the guests to the accommodation blocks, then the members of the
PDSS group participated in static displays and dynamic performances to learn about the tasks
to be executed and the system of documentation, and they also made a tour of the area of
responsibility (AOR) of the maneuver element.
Lt.-Col. Paulo Cordeiro, the commander of the KFOR Tactical Reserve Maneuver Battalion
– KTM) treated the members of the PDSS group to a joint Portuguese–Hungarian supper on
the last evening of the visit, and assured the leaders of his cooperation in executing the future
tasks.
