Recognitions for Hungarians Serving In Iraq
Szöveg: honvedelem.hu | 2017. február 17. 9:00The personnel of the third rotation of the HDF Iraqi Training Support Contingent are participating in providing training for the Kurdish Security Forces.
During the recent period the contingent has continuously been working to execute its tasks to the highest standards in the international coalition. As a result of the persistent work, the Hungarian soldiers have already been awarded recognitions on a number of occasions. Among the leaders of the Kurdistan Training Coordination Centre (KTCC), Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Richard Van Laar presented certificates to seven Hungarian trainers in November 2016, thereby recognizing their outstanding attitude among the nations in training the local forces.
In what followed, the team of Hungarian trainers continued working with even more focus on its mission while training the Peshmerga forces. KTCC Commander German Col. Georg Oel visited the Hungarian trainers, inspected the soldiers during the training sessions, and presented the KTCC commander’s commendation to another four trainers.
