Safety Fuel 2014
Szöveg: HDF Logistic Centre | 2014. július 20. 16:29In the framework of the German–Hungarian logistic cooperation “Joint Logistics”, the fuel handling technology and interoperability exercise “Safety Fuel 2014” was organized by the Bundeswehr Logistic Command and conducted between June 29 and July 12 near Putlos, Germany.
Brig.-Gen. Volker Thomas, the commander of the 1st Logistic Brigade delivered an opening speech, and then representatives of both nations reported to the invited guests to inform them about the tasks assigned and executed during the exercise and the process of cooperation. On behalf of the Hungarian participants, Exercise Co-Director Lt.-Col. Elek Szabó gave a report. In what followed, dynamic demonstrations and static displays were held during the day, on which German and Hungarian logisticians showed their skills at operating a Bulk Fuel Installation (BFI) and, within it, the WARDAM-II pipeline network under field conditions.
