Spanish General Staff Course Students Visiting Hungary

Krisztina Adamek Draviczné | 2012. június 20. 15:12The military delegation of the 13th General Staff Course of the Armed Forces (CEMFAS) – which is organized by the Spanish Higher Staff College of the Armed Forces (ESFAS) – paid a visit to Hungary between June 11–15, 2012. Headed by Vice-Admiral Luis Cayetano, the commandant of the school, the guests visited the HDF Joint Force Command (HDF JFC) on June 14, 2012. It has been six years, almost to the day since the legal predecessor of the HDF JFC last received the CEMFAS students in Székesfehérvár.
The guests were given presentations on the organizational structure of the HDF JFC and its commitments to peace support operations. The program continued with a joint technological display of the HDF 43rd “Nagysándor József" Signal and Command Support Regiment and the HDF 93rd “Petőfi Sándor" CBRN Defence Battalion, during which the delegation was introduced to the CIS and CBRN defence equipment in use with the Hungarian Defence Forces.
