Sudanese Ambassadorial Visit
Szöveg: Flóra Tisóczki | 2017. július 26. 9:00Minister of Defence István Simicskó recently held a discussion in his office with Adil Bashir Hassan Bashir, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan.
During the ambassadorial visit, the minister of defence stated that we have been pleased to have a visit from the Sudanese delegation last November, during which the two sides agreed on working out a bilateral military framework agreement whose draft is currently under negotiation.
Ambassador Bashir expressed hope that the agreement will soon be signed.
István Simicskó emphasized that we are ready to sign the bilateral military framework agreement as soon as possible, as it includes some promising areas such as education and training. In accordance with the Hungarian government’s policy of opening to the East and to the South, we are ready to develop cooperation. We consider it important to take effective action against international terrorism, illegal trafficking in arms and drugs, and cross-border organized crime.
