Swedish Visitor in the Research Centre
Szöveg: Lt.-Col. Andrea Szabóné Szabó | 2017. március 1. 9:00On Friday, 24 February Swedish exchange diplomat Magnus Sätterberg paid a visit to the Hungarian Defence Forces Augmentation, Preparation and Training Command General Staff Scientific Research Centre (HDF APTC GS SRC).
The Swedish diplomat arrived in Hungary in the framework of the European Diplomatic Programme. On the second day of his stay, he was introduced to the system of activities, strategy and objectives of the Research Centre, and gained insight into the current projects and tasks. Magnus Sätterberg and Dr. Gábor Csige, a staff member from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade were received by Col. Dr. János Besenyő, the Head of the Research Centre.
The head of the department told us that the diplomat’s visit has outstanding importance also because the research centre lays great emphasis on developing and expanding the scope of cooperation with members of the scientific and professional communities both at the national and the international levels. The Research Centre itself is seeking possible new ways of thinking together, thereby expanding its already existing professional relations.
During their discussion, the participants explored the scope for long-term cooperation, and the Swedish diplomat was also shown around the HDF APTC Scientific Library, which operates in the Research Centre.
