The Mass was celebrated by Catholic military chaplain Capt. Roland Kálinger (Father Rozsé) on top a hill near Camp Cabra on Pentecost.

Pentecost is the birthday of the Church. On this feast, held on the seventh Sunday and Monday after Easter, Christians celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit to the Apostles.

Besides preparing spiritually for Pentecost, the Hungarian soldiers serving in Kosovo erected a cross to the glory of God on top of a hill next to Camp Cabra. This is not the first cross on the hill, as some people had already erected a wooden cross earlier, and the Polish troops had also erected another nicely prepared one.

During the Holy Mass, some members of the Hungarian contingent were baptized, some became first communicants, and some were confirmed. Furthermore, several of those who recently arrived to fill individual positions told Father Rozsé that they would like to receive baptism during their tour of duty.
