US Senior Enlisted Leader Arrives at Helicopter Base

Adams, Senior Enlisted Leader, United States European Command (USEUCOM) paid an official visit to the HDF 86th Szolnok Helicopter Base. During his visit, he was accompanied by CWO István Kriston, Command Sergeant Major, Hungarian Defence Forces, and CWO Tibor Négyesi, Command Sergeant Major, HDF Joint Force Command.
Technology display of small arms in use with the unit
Col. Róbert Kiss, the chief of staff of the helicopter base received the guests. The visit started with the introduction of the units co-located in the barracks – the helicopter base, the HDF 25/88 Airmobile Battalion and the HDF 34th Bercsényi László Special Operations Forces Battalion –, and then the guests were shown the aircraft in service, the air traffic control tower and a display of equipment in use with the airmobile and the SOF battalions.
The American guest had opportunity to test a Robinson R44 helicopter simulator of the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC) program which is operated at the base.
