Centennial Air Show in Lithuania

An air-show was organised on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Lithuanian military aviation at the Šiauliai Air Base on Saturday, 27th July. Currently the HDF Baltic Air Policing QRA Detachment (MH BAP FLKA) stationing at this air base performs air policing tasks as the 50th rotation of NATO’s Baltic Air Policing mission.

Commander’s Visit to the Baltics

Lieutenant General Ferenc Korom, the Commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces paid a visit to the Hungarian Defence Forces Baltic Air Policing Quick Reaction Alert Detachment (MH BAP FLKA) at the Šiauliai Air Base, Lithuania. The delegation, whose member was Brigadier General Nándor Kilián, the Inspector of the Air Force – was received by Brigadier General Csaba Ugrik, the Commander of the MH BAP FLKA.

Ferenc Bányai, the Ambassador of Hungary accredited to Latvia has paid an official visit to the HDF Baltic Air Policing Quick Reaction Alert (HDF BAP QRA) Detachment at the Šiauliai Air Base, Lithuania recently.
