The Price of Freedom

The spring of 2010 is the Arab Spring. It will go down in history by that name, as the beginning of the freedom fight of the Arab World. War correspondent Antal Marosi, who had already been to the Balkan and the Middle East theatres of war, travelled to Tunisia, then to Lybia, to see how the terrible dictator, Gaddafi was removed from power, and how a nation struggled for freedom. He witnessed armed conflicts, and more than once had a hairbreadth escape. He made three journeys, and each time he had a nose for finding those people whose acts shaped the freedom-fight. He kept a diary of his meetings, the everyday life of the war-torn cities and the economic background of the given country. The Zrínyi Publishing House has just now published this diary.
