Attachés Visit Szentes

The attachés asked the commander several questions. They were interested in the system of recruitment, the training, the professional duties and the capabilities of the subunits and the military equipment.

After the briefing, they went to the Tisza training area to watch there a training event of the Bridge Battalion, and witnessed the specific phases of bridge-laying and amphibious crossing.

During the program, they also visited the unit museum, where they were introduced to the past of the unit and saw an exhibition of the artworks made by Szentes Ceramist Ferenc Bese.

Beyond the military equipment, at a static display in the water training area they also learned about the machinery and other assets in service, their specifications and scope of use.

At the end of the day, the attachés visited the diver training base, where the participants of the ongoing basic diver training course held a demonstration for them about the training and the new hydraulic equipment.
