Exercise Quick Response 2015 started in the Manjaca training area, Bosnia-Herzegovina after the arrival of Intermediate Reserve Forces in the theatre of operations. Some designated units of the armed forces of Bosnia-Herzegovina (AFBiH) were attached to the unit executing the tasks on 19 October. During the deployment phase, there was a command post exercise (CPX) with the participation of the relevant organizational elements of the EUFOR HQ, partnered by Romanian and Bulgarian soldiers serving in key positions.

The British, Slovak, Turkish and Hungarian companies were training for various elements of peace support operations in a scenario of a fictitious crisis situation. During this, the members of the units developed their skills in the fields of helicopter transport, direct defence, mine detection, casualty care and evacuation and crowd and riot control (CRC).

Exercise Director Brig.-Gen. Zoltán Mihócza gave the visitors a comprehensive presentation on the main objectives of Quick Response 2015, the accomplished tasks and the results. Maj.-Gen. Johann Luif, Commander EUFOR ALTHEA held a press briefing at which he said that the participants’ work has been successful and effective, just like the cooperation with the designated units of the AFBiH.

On 21 October the participants redeployed to Camp Butmir, where the exercise ended with a closing ceremony held on the next day.
