Most members of the nearly 140-strong Hungarian contingent are drawn from the 39th Infantry Battalion of the HDF 5th “Bocskai István" Infantry Brigade. During the combined training events, the Hungarians will form a battalion-sized unit with a Lithuanian and a US company.

At the site, after occupying the tent camp, the members of the Hungarian company were introduced to the training area, received their individual gears and prepared for the successful execution of the training tasks.
