The Polish soldiers have come from the unit 6 Brygada Powietrznodesantowa of Krakow, whereas the Germans serve with Logistikbattalion 172 in Berlin.

In addition to two soldiers of the MoD Public Relations and War Memorial Service Department, the Hungarian delegation was composed of one contract soldier and six volunteer operations reservists from the war grave care staff of the HDF Augmentation and Central Registry Command, and the Roman Catholic military chaplain of the HDF NCO Academy. The leader of the group was 1st Lt. Balázs Kiss, an officer of the department.

Besides the restoration works, the Hungarian group visited several military cemeteries where Hungarian soldiers are buried.
