The event was attended by COMKFOR Maj.-Gen. Giovanni Fungo. In his speech, the general thanked the soldiers who had served at the KFOR HQ over the last six or twelve months.
The recipients of the medal – Hungarian and foreign service members – will complete their tour of duty with the Kosovo mission in November this year.
The medals were presented to the soldiers by COMKFOR Maj.-Gen. Giovanni Fungo, DCOM KFOR Brig.-Gen. Christian Riener and KFOR Chief of Staff Brig.-Gen. Patricia M. Anslow.
