Military Attachés in the Military Hospital

Colonel (Med.) Dr. Ildikó Muzsay gave a lecture on the operational and health care system of the Military Hospital. From her lecture the military attachés learned that the hospital’s health care services are also available for the civilian population in addition to those entitled to that. The director of the Health Care Administration Institute of the Military Hospital among others talked about the consultations of specialists and the outpatient care, the medical and health care personnel of the institution, and the importance of the replacement of health-care professionals, about the specialist training and the work of the health care workers serving at the Southern border of the country.
Following the lectures, the military diplomats were shown around the Emergency Centre of the Hospital by the head physician Dr. Gábor Zacher, and then they visited the Outpatient Institute guided by Colonel (Med.) Dr. Mihály Timár, the director of the Institute.
After the hospital tour, the military attachés could have an insight into the AC3000 pneumatic air tube system of the health care complex, which is suitable for the transport of blood and tissue samples, prescriptions, medical records, X-rays, medicines, small medical instruments and documents within the building and between the hospital buildings. At the end of the program the members of the delegation viewed the rooftop helipad of the Institution, on which the Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters in service with the Hungarian Defence Forces can land.
