The main event was the No. 7 special target practice – known as the “two-man team duel" –, which is regularly included in the program of shooting championships of the Hungarian Defence Forces: after occupying the firing positions the teams had to eliminate the targets as fast as possible before the opponent team would do that. The competing teams did not only use their own weapons, but also had a chance to test each other’s during the events.

In addition to these events, the members of the Hungarian contingent provided cross training for the Portuguese troops, who tried out the GLOCK-17 pistol, the AK-63 assault rifle and the PKM machine gun in service with the Hungarian Defence Forces. The Hungarian soldiers had opportunity to fire the legendary Walther P-38 pistol, the G3 assault rifle and the MG-3 machine gun.

The competition was finally won by the Portuguese company of the KTM.
