Start of Exercise Tobruq Legacy 2019

In the following three weeks, in several points of the country about 4800 troops and 1200 technical equipment of twenty nations will work together in a co-ordinated way. As the director of TOLY 19, Brigadier General Stefan Mordacz in his opening address noted, the Tobruq Legacy 2019 will provide an excellent opportunity for the air defence forces of the participating nations to work together united under the NATO’s flag – under a unified command – as members of one formation, and to share their experiences and knowledge with one another, and to demonstrate their expertise and professionalism during the joint work.

Our country is represented by a 150 strong contingent, which mainly draws from the personnel of the HDF 12th Arrabona Surface-to-air Missile (SAM) Regiment.
