American Delegation Visits the HDF Joint Force Command
Szöveg: Lt.-Col. Attila Torba | 2018. január 30. 9:00On 24 January Maj.-Gen. Ferenc Korom, Commander, HDF Joint Force Command received Brig.-Gen. Timothy J. Daugherty, Deputy Chief of Staff G3 (Operations), United States Army Europe (USAREUR) who was on a professional visit in Hungary.
The most important item on the agenda of the meeting was the lessons learned during last year’s high visibility Exercise Saber Guardian, to which the Hungarian Defence Forces joined through the exercises of army units such as the field training exercise (FTX) Brave Warrior and the bridging exercise Szentes Axe, and also through the Special Operations Forces exercise Black Swan. Besides, certain capabilities of the Hungarian Air Force were integrated into the US-led exercise Swift Response.
The visit offered an excellent opportunity to explore the scope of further cooperation and to formulate the training objectives of Exercise Saber Guardian 2019.
