Analyzing the Effects of Operations

of the Military Committee and the designated staff officers to discuss the key tasks of the
deployed forces and to plan the training cycles of the NATO Response Force (NRF).
The close to 150 participants included soldiers and representatives of non-governmental
organizations. Hungary was represented at the event by Maj.-Gen. Sándor Fucsku and Brig.-
Gen. Zoltán Mihócza.
The theme of this year’s seminar was „Forging the Future – Leading NATO Military
Transformation", devoted to building a shared vision of the future security policy challenges.
Also in focus were crisis management operations, partnerships, outer space and cyber space as
well as the Connected Forces Initiative (CFI).
Working together with strategic-level NATO experts, the participants of the seminar explored
the future operating environments, and tried to find answers to questions related to the limits
and effects of operations.
