The NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) held the NATO seminar Allied Reach 2013 between May 7–9 at the Joint Force Staff College, Norfolk.

The annual seminar offers an opportunity for NATO’s senior military leaders, the members
of the Military Committee and the designated staff officers to discuss the key tasks of the

Gen. Zoltán Mihócza.

The theme of this year’s seminar was „Forging the Future – Leading NATO Military
Transformation", devoted to building a shared vision of the future security policy challenges.
Also in focus were crisis management operations, partnerships, outer space and cyber space as
well as the Connected Forces Initiative (CFI).

Working together with strategic-level NATO experts, the participants of the seminar explored
the future operating environments, and tried to find answers to questions related to the limits
and effects of operations.
