Chief of Staff of Italian Army Visits Hungary
Szöveg: honvedelem.hu | 2017. november 19. 11:13Between 8–10 November, a delegation headed by Lt.-Gen. Danilo Errico, the Chief of Staff of the Italian Army paid an official visit to Hungary at the invitation of Lt.-Gen. János Huszár, Commander, HDF Joint Force Command (HDF JFC).
The delegation visited the Command, where it was briefed on the organizational structure and tasks of the HDF JFC, its role in foreign missions and the border security operation “Joint Will".
In what followed, the guests travelled to Szolnok, where Brig.-Gen. Tamás Sándor, Commander, HDF 2nd vitéz Bertalan Árpád Special Operations Forces Group informed them about the function of the unit and the tasks ahead of the Group. Afterwards they were introduced to the weapons and combat vehicles in use with the unit, and witnessed a dynamic display.
On the third day of the visit, Lt.-Gen. Errico attended the DV Day of the Clever Ferret 2017 multinational exercise.
Chief of Defence General Dr. Tibor Benkő received the Chief of Staff of the Italian Army on a courtesy call.
