Children’s Drawings from Pápa in Afghanistan

The competition was announced by the Strategic Airlift Capability – HDF Pápa Base Airport, the Heavy Airlift Wing (HAW), the NATO Airlift Management (NAM) Programme Office and the Boeing for the elementary school students in Pápa. The drawings prepared were taken to Afghanistan.
On the drawings the words call Mothers and Fathers home
A part of the drawings decorates the corridors of the National Support Element (NSE) Offices in Mazar-e-sharif, stealing a kind of family atmosphere in the otherwise strict weekdays filled with much work. Besides, the copies of each of the pictures were also placed on the walls of the international canteen, and they have won the praises of the soldiers in the camp.
On several works-of-art there are good wishes to Mothers and Fathers, and words calling them home. The pictures have been digitalized and circulated to all of the Hungarian Contingents serving at the theatres.
