Commemorative Ceremony in Athienou
Szöveg: SFC Judit Vaszily | 2015. november 10. 9:00The members of the Hungarian contingent of the UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) also commemorated the anniversary of the 1956 Revolution.
The commemorative ceremony held in Camp Szent Istvan, Athienou was also attended by Slovak and Serbian soldiers co-deployed with the Hungarians, a representative of the Prime Minister’s Office State Secretariat for National Policy and Hungarian families living in Cyprus.
At the event, Lt.-Col. Zoltán Csatári, the commander of the Hungarian contingent delivered a speech, after which a letter of greeting was read out, written by State Secretary for National Policy János Árpád Potápi.
The members of the Puli Club operating in Limassol contributed to the event by singing Hungarian songs.
