Deputy State Secretary Visits Camp Film City

Zoltán Mitsch | 2013. április 14. 13:25On Tuesday, April 9 Péter Sztáray, Deputy State Secretary for Security Policy, (Political Director), Ministry of Foreign Affairs paid a visit to the KFOR Headquarters in Pristina, Kosovo, where he held discussions with Brig.-Gen. Bojan Pograjc, the Slovenian deputy commander of KFOR.
The members of the Hungarian delegation included Krisztián Pósa, Director for the Western
Balkans, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Also present at the discussion were Lóránt Balla,
Hungary’s ambassador to Kosovo, Minister Counselor dr. István Sipos and Col. (Dipl.) (Eng.)
József Miskolczi, Senior National Representative, KFOR Deputy Chief of Staff Support
(DCOS SP).
Following a reception with military honors, the Hungarian delegation surveyed with Brig.-
Gen. Pograjc Kosovo’s security situation, Hungary’s military engagement and the role of
HungaroControl Ltd. in managing the air traffic in Kosovo’s upper airspace.
At the meeting, the KFOR deputy commander praised the role of the Hungarian Defence
Forces and expressed his satisfaction with the attitude and professionalism of the Hungarian
troops serving at the KFOR Headquarters and with the KFOR Tactical Reserve Maneuver
Battalion (KTM). The Deputy State Secretary reasserted Hungary’s commitment to
participation in NATO-led operations. After the discussion, Deputy State Secretary Péter
Sztáray and Ambassador Lóránt Balla both thanked Col. Miskolczi for the Hungarian
soldiers’ work.
