Szöveg: honvedelem.hu / bocskaidandar.hu | 2011. december 9. 10:11The HDF 5th ‘Bocskai István’ Infantry Brigade had a tombstone erected to commemorate posthumous lieutenants Orsolya Róth and András Dálnoki, the soldiers of the unit killed in an accident in Afghanistan in May 2011.
It was the former comrades of the war heroes, the troops of the 39th infantry battalion who came up with the idea of erecting a tombstone, and the leaders of the brigade naturally approved the initiative. Made of black granite, the tombstones were recently unveiled at Besnyő, Fejér County and at Nyírmeggyes, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County.
Lt.-Col. Zsolt Vantal, the commanding officer of the battalion and the chief of staff of the HUN PRT-10, and 1st Lt. Szilárd Sajtos, the Reformed field chaplain of the unit and the PRT-10 rotation delivered speeches at the unveiling ceremony of the tombstones held with military honors. In what followed, the former colleagues, comrades and friends laid their wreaths.
