With the help of the medical staff of the Naqoura military hospital, on 19 February the Hungarian peacekeepers serving with UNIFIL participated in a first responder refresher training event.
During the training, the soldiers learned about the types of bleedings, fractures and burns as well as the characteristics of dislocations and sprains. They practiced how to fix fractured limbs and how to properly provide Basic Life Support (BLS, by performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). 1st Lt. Roland Rábel has already completed a Combat Life Saver (CLS) course, so he was a great help for the Hungarian groups as he shared with its members the lessons learned on the course.
