Half Marathon in Afghanistan
Szöveg: honvedelem.hu | 2016. október 10. 9:52The soldiers stationed in Camp Marmal, Afghanistan recently took part in a half marathon running race. Eight Hungarian servicemembers were among the 76 entrants.
The competitors started the run at 06:30 local time in a temperature of 24 degrees Celsius, but due to a quick temperature rise, they finished it in 36 degrees Celsius.
All Hungarian soldiers successfully finished the race. Four of them covered the 21 km distance in 1 hrs 50 min, but even the last one to cross the finish line completed it in 2 hrs 10 min.
