Helicopter Tactics Symposium in Athens
Szöveg: Col. Tamás Bali | 2016. november 26. 6:02This year the European Defence Agency (EDA) organized the annual Helicopter Tactics Symposium of its Helicopter Training Program in Athens.
Since 2012, Hungary has been a regular participant at the annual conferences of the organization, and Budapest hosted the event last year. The symposium is an opportunity for participating nations to get a comprehensive picture of the tactical/tactical instructor courses coordinated by the Helicopter Training Program, the state of rotary-wing exercises and the lessons learned during the already conducted exercises and ongoing foreign missions. The Hungarian Air Force was represented by Col. Tamás Bali (HDF 86th Szolnok Helicopter Base), Lt.-Col. János Péter (MoD General Staff Training Directorate), Lt.-Col. Imre Báldy (HDF Joint Force Command Operations and Training Directorate) and Lt.-Col. Endre Daróczi (HDF 86th Szolnok Helicopter Base).
Two Hungarians held lectures at the symposium: Col. Tamás Bali talked about the experiences he gained as commander of a Hungarian air advisory team mentoring Afghan helicopter pilots, while Lt.-Col. Endre Daróczi presented the details of next year’s major international helicopter exercise “Fire Blade 2017".
